Organization Highlights

Monthly Meetings

LHRMA has eight (8) regular meetings during the calendar year. The meetings are held on the third (3rd) Wednesday of the month.

The meetings consist of organization business, guest speakers, and roundtables that are beneficial and informational to our membership.

Employment Law Conference

In May, LHRMA partners with Wimberly Lawson Wright Daves & Jones, PLLC Law Firm to hold an employment law conference that focuses on updating our area leaders with new laws and regulations, changes to existing laws, and providing best practices on handling those delicate situations we encounter in our roles.

You do not have to be an LHRMA member to attend this conference. Information is typically sent out in March or April, but if you would like to make sure you are added to the mailing list, please let us know!

Giving Back

Our organization is vested in helping our area prepare future leaders.

We provide funding to a Lakeway Human Resources Management Association Scholarship available through Walters State Community College. Visit the LHRMA Scholarship page to learn more.

Having Fun

We like to celebrate our members!

In December, we have a gathering for our members to celebrate our year, spend time getting to know more about each other, and have some fun together. We do not have a regularly scheduled meeting during this month.
